We tested out their Lasergrip 1080 and fell in love with the rugged exterior and moulded gun-style grips. The LCD screen is bright, easy to read and even turns itself off when not in use. We found the laser to be accurate and kept a steady temperature during use.

We tried out their 633726 digital infrared thermometer, and really like the simplicity of the device. With just one button to press, it’s the best IR thermometer if you want an uncomplicated way to read temperatures in Celsius and Fahrenheit in seconds.

Cocoda have put their name on an impressive number of useful gadgets, especially their instant read thermometers and in car accessories. We got hold of their DT8550J infrared thermometer and tested it out on some heated surfaces.

The range of the IR sensor is the first thing we noticed- with an impressive 12:1 spot distance ratio you don’t have to hold it right up to the thing you want to read, which we think’s really handy.

The construction of the hand grip feels sturdy and the trigger has a nice action to it as well, but our favourite part is that it has the best laser thermometer screen out of all the devices we tested, the backlight means it can be used in the darkest environments.
