The Nerf Elite 2.0 Commander RD-6 Blaster offers an exciting and thrilling experience for Nerf enthusiasts.

This gun has two shooting modes. Either release one dart at a time or unleash all 6 with the slam fire action. It comes with 12 elite Nerf darts included, and it offers good accuracy. The range is a very impressive 90 ft.

It’s visually appealing, with customisable options including a tactical rail and barrel attachment points. At just 560 g, it’s incredibly lightweight.

One potential drawback is that some users have reported occasional jamming issues, and it needs to be cleared manually.

Overall however, this Nerf blaster delivers on its promise of thrilling Nerf battles thanks to its engaging design and easy reloading.

The Nerf Elite 2.0 Eaglepoint RD-8 Blaster is a great all rounder, offering an exhilarating experience. This blaster features an impressive 8 dart rotating drum, allowing for rapid-fire action and continuous play.

It has a sleek and ergonomic design that makes it comfortable to hold and easy to manoeuvre during intense battles.

It also offers great accuracy, ensuring all your shots hit the mark. It has 16 Nerf darts included, while there’s 3 tactical rails that allow you to customise it with other accessories.

It has a reasonable range of 90 ft, although one slight downside is that reloading can be time-consuming. Some users have reported the blaster jamming when using a different type of dart.

The rapid-fire capabilities and 16 included darts however, make it a great choice for long, drawn out battles.

If your priority is fast and aggressive blasting capabilities, the Nerf Elite 2.0 Shockwave RD-15 Dart Blaster should be at the top of your list. This blaster can blast 15 darts in a row, so it’s a great choice for competitive Nerf battles.

It comes with 30 Nerf darts included, so you’ll have ample ammo. It can fire darts up to 90 ft away, and it’s easy to fire with reasonable accuracy.

There’s tactical rails, stock and barrel attachment points, so if you wish to customise it with other accessories then you can. Plus, at just 500 g, it’s extremely lightweight!

There’s a couple of downsides to mention. There’s no built-in storage for the remaining 15 darts, which other Nerf guns do have. The pump action may be difficult for children to use too, as it does require some strength.

Some users have reported the gun getting jammed, although this seems to be the case with most Nerf guns!

Simple and affordable, the Nerf Fortnite 6-SH Blaster-Camo Pulse Wrap is ideal if you’re on a tighter budget. This blaster comes with 6 elite darts, and has an engaging Fortnite-inspired design.

The hammer action priming is fun to use. Simply pull the hammer down to get the blaster ready to fire, then unleash the darts from the rotating drum. It’s surprisingly powerful for such an affordable blaster, while it weighs just 580 g, so it’s easy for children to operate.

A couple of downsides to mention. The first is that it only comes with 6 darts included, so once you’ve fired them all, you’ll need to go and collect them! There’s no spare darts, nor built-in storage.

It also only fires one dart at a time, so it’s not for you if you prefer the rapid-fire action.

All things considered, this Nerf gun is a great introduction to Nerf weapons. The Fortnite design adds to the engagement for keen gamers!

Easy to Reload

5. Nerf Elite Disruptor Blaster[ SAVE 36% ]

best for intense competition

 Nerf Elite Disruptor Blaster
  • 6 dart drum allows you to slam fire all 6 darts in a row
  • Quick to reload when you run out of ammo
  • Hard wearing so suitable for competitive Nerf battles

  • Priming the gun requires a bit of strength and may be hard for younger children
  • Only comes with 6 bullets included

Designed for more intense competition, the Nerf Elite Disruptor Blaster comes with 12 darts included and can be used to fire 6 darts in rapid succession. When you run out of darts, it’s easy to reload.

One of the best things about this gun is that it’s hard wearing. It’s been designed for intense battles, yet it weighs just 500 g so it doesn’t feel too heavy.

There’s two shooting modes, the quick draw blaster, and the slam-fire action. It fires up to 90 ft and it’s fairly accurate.

When you run out of ammo, it’s quick to reload, although priming the gun does require a bit of strength. For this reason, it’s not the best choice for younger kids.

The only other downside is that there’s just 6 darts included. You’ll almost definitely want to buy additional ammo!

The Nerf DinoSquad Raptor-Slash Dart Blaster certainly looks the part. This blaster has a Velociraptor dinosaur design that’ll be loved by both kids and adults alike!

It has a 6 dart rotating drum, and it comes with just 6 darts included. The darts can be launched from the jaws of the gun. Simply load, prime and fire one dart at a time.

Another option (for more competitive games) is the slam fire action. Unleash all 6 darts in a row at your opponent. Those who prefer this action will almost certainly want to invest in more darts.

It’s a good quality blaster, designed to withstand intense Nerf battles. It’s also fairly lightweight, at just 590 g.

While loading is quick and easy, priming the blaster does require some strength and may be a bit too stiff for younger kids. This model is best for children aged 8 and above.

An awesome, dinosaur-themed blaster that’s well deserving of its spot on this page.

Couple of Shooting Modes
  • Comes with 22 darts included so it’s great for longer battles
  • You can blast 6 darts at once, or unleash 10 darts in a row thanks to the air-pressurised power
  • Comes with a 10 dart clip for a motorised blaster mode
  • Integrated scope can help you get an accurate shot

  • Requires 4 batteries which are not included
  • Fairly noisy so not the best choice for stealthy battles
  • Scope may not be at the correct height for adults

The best blaster for competitions, the Nerf Elite 2.0 Motoblitz CS-10 Blaster comes with 22 darts included and has a couple of shooting modes.

It comes with a 10 dart clip for a fully motorised blaster. Simply power up the blaster with the acceleration button and launch 10 darts in a row. Alternatively, unleash 6 darts at the same time by pumping the handle and pressing the airblitz button.

This blaster has clearly been designed for competitive battles. Unlike others I’ve mentioned, it needs to be held with two hands, and it weighs 1.47 kg. It comes with a scope to help with targeting, giving you much more accuracy than you’d have with other blasters.

This Nerf blaster does require batteries which will need to be purchased separately. It’s also quite noisy, so not the best blaster if you’re looking to stealthily take out your opponent.

With its ability to blast 6 darts at the same time, this Nerf blaster is hard to beat!

Lightweight yet with an engaging design, the Nerf Elite Strongarm Orange Blaster is a good choice for kids. It weighs just 560 g, so it’s easy to carry and use with just one hand.

This Nerf blaster has a flip open 6 dart barrel that makes it easy to reload. You can fire 6 darts in a row with ease, up to 90 ft. There are 6 darts included, designed for distance and accuracy. They are low-flying which makes it easier to hit the target!

The barrel is fun to use and also has the ability to fire all 6 darts in a rapid-blasting wave. Simply move the slide back and forth as you hold down the trigger.

There are no batteries required, and this is a great budget model. Despite the simplicity, it guarantees hour after hour of fun!

Good Accuracy and Speed

9. Nerf Ultra One Motorised Blaster

best for extreme distance

 Nerf Ultra One Motorised Blaster
  • Comes with 25 Ultra darts which can fly up to 120 ft, as opposed to the standard 90
  • Much more powerful than others on the market so a good choice for long battles
  • Feels sturdy and high quality - great for competitions
  • Good rate of fire

  • Needs batteries which don’t come included
  • Trigger needs to be pulled back with some force or it’ll jam

If you’re after a motorised blaster that’ll take your Nerf battles to the next level, the Nerf Ultra One Motorised Blaster is worth considering. This blaster has been designed for extreme distance, accuracy and speed.

So what’s the difference between this blaster and others I’ve mentioned? Well, it mainly comes down to the darts. This model comes with 25 Ultra darts, which can fly up to 120 ft, as opposed to the standard 90 ft.

It comes with a dart drum that can hold all 25 darts. Fire either one dart a time, or blast all 25. There’s storage on the gun that allows you to store additional darts for more firepower when needed.

It weighs 1.86 kg, so it’s a little heavier than others on the market, and it needs to be operated with two hands. Pulling the trigger does require some strength, so this model wouldn’t be suitable for young kids.

This gun can only be used with Ultra darts, so this is worth thinking about if you already have a number of standard Nerf darts.

Designed to blast zombies, I was expecting great things from the Nerf Zombie Strike FlipFury Blaster, and it didn’t disappoint!

This blaster has a zombie design that’s highly engaging and great for kids. It comes with 2 drums, each able to store and blast 6 darts each. When one drum is empty, simply flip to the other one.

It has an easy to use flip-fire action, and switching between the drums is seamless. It can be operated with just one hand, although it does weigh over 700 g.

The only real downside is that there’s just one firing mode, although it’s easy to fire the darts in quick succession.

How To Choose The Best Nerf Gun

A Nerf gun battle is a serious event, and the right weapon is absolutely vital if you’re going to be winning those battles!

Here’s what to think about when buying a Nerf gun for battles.

Safety guidance

It’s important to remember that just because Nerf guns don’t fire actual bullets, they can still be dangerous. Ensure you read the safety guidance that comes with your new weapon thoroughly.

Always aim for non-sensitive parts of the body, such as the limbs or torso, and avoid aiming for someone’s face or head. Protective eye-wear is usually recommended.

Outdoor Space Considerations

You should assess how much space you have for battles before making a purchase. Nerf guns are best saved for outdoor use, as those bullets can cause a lot of damage inside! If you don’t have a lot of room to move around your garden, consider a blaster with a compact design.

Blaster Size, Weight and Features

Nerf battles can rage on for hours, so it’s important that your weapon is comfortable to carry for long periods.

The weight and size will affect the ease of handling and mobility during outdoor play. Smaller and lighter blasters offer increased manoeuvrability, especially for players who prefer a more fast-paced fight.

Extra features include slam fire, motorised firing and quick reload mechanisms. These features can add to the cost and weight, so keep this in mind.
